Description

The Church of St Peters is grade one listed and lies to the west of the village and the River Anker runs alongside. Areas of the churchyard are unmown and there are a number of specimen trees.

Wildlife Highlights

A number of interesting plants have been found in the churchyard, including Ramsons, Early Dog-violet and Italian Toadflax. The proximity of the river also adds to the interest with species such as the caddisfly Mystacides azurea.
