Description

This linear woodland runs along the south side of the A6006, east of Wymeswold.

Wildlife Highlights

Many of the trees are native and were planted a few decades ago. Dominant species include Wild Cherry, Ash, Field Maple, Sycamore, Hawthorn, Blackthorn and Hazel. Other, less dominant tree species include English Oak, Hornbeam, Elder and Scots Pine. 

Other flora includes common species such as Lesser Celandine, Bramble, Hedge Woundwort, Bindweed, Cow Parsley, Hogweed and Lords and Ladies.
