This lichen has small, sometimes continuous, granules that become covered in bright yellow soredia giving it a fluffy appearance.
On the bark of shaded, nutrient-rich trees. Often found at lower levels where dogs urinate.
All year round.
Widespread and common in Britain.
Common in Leicestershire and Rutland.
