Description

Crypturaphis grassi is a monophagous species of aphid feeding solely on Italian Alder (Alnus cordata).

When Italian Alder (Alnus cordata) is in leaf.

UK Status

Native to southern Italy and Corsica and ?rst recorded in the UK in 1998 its true status is not yet known but it seems likely that the species may occur wherever the host tree is found.

VC55 Status

Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
