Leafy Brain - Tremella foliacea

Description

Similar in appearance to Jelly Ear fungus, but differs in that it forms a tightly packed cluster of many leaf like lobes varying with age from pale pinkish to darker brown.

Grows on the decaying wood of hardwoods.

Autumn.

Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.
